This
posting on the Grough web site prompted a walk linking the Nottinghamshire County Tops:
- Strawberry Bank (natural top at the north-west end of Huthwaite)
- Newtonwood Lane (natural top on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border)
- Silverhill (man made top on the Silverhill Colliery spoil heap)
The three tops can easily be done in a circluar walk of about 7 miles from the Teversal Visitor Centre (SK479614).
