Lowdham's Gold Post Box

A circular walk of about 10 miles from Hoveringham which includes the Gold Post Box in Lowdham in Nottinghamshire.

The Hut at Lowdham. This house which was built around the mid-eighties replaced an unusual house which incorporated two railway carriages in the upper storey.

This Post Box painted gold on 2 September 2012 after Richard Whitehead won the gold medal in the 200m T42 class at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
